Environment Week Photos

We have been enjoying the lovely weather this week and have been getting outside as part of environment week. We have been taking part in lots of different activities from pond dipping to environmental art. Here are some great examples from year 5!

Half term: 31st May - 7th June

We finish for half term on Friday 28th May at 3pm and the children return to school on 8th June, the school is closed on Monday 7th June for staff training. Kidz Play is running on Monday 7th June please see Tara or ask at the school office for more information.

Tidy up Day

Come and join us on Sunday 23rd May 10-3pm. If you can spare an hour or two please come along and help us tidy up the grounds, weeding ,clearing, installing water butts. We will refresh you with biscuits, drinks and feel free to bring a picnic to enjoy the surroundings !

Country Dance Festival - 21st May

Don't forget the Country Dancing Festival coming up on Friday 21st May in the afternoon. Come along to see traditional country dances, special year group dances, cheer leading and even join in yourself!
FJSA will also be holding a plant sale.

Year 3 - Visit from the Egyptian Museum Collection!

Year 3 have been studying the Egyptians and we were lucky enough to have a visitor from a museum who bought lots of ancient Egyptian artefacts with him! We were in groups and had a go a different activities from making our own museum, writing our name in hieroglyphs, identifying objects and sorting out the fake from the real. Here are some of the amazing objects that we looked at!
