The winning emblem will be seen by millions of people around the UK and the World, and will appear on everything from posters to commemorative teacups!
To enter, here's what you need to do:
- Design your emblem on an A4 sheet of paper
- Don't include an image of The Queen
- Do include a crown somewhere on the design
- Your emblem design should be creative. Make it stand out from the crowd! How will it be different from everyone else's design?
- Your emblem design should be simple so don't add too much detail! It can be colourful, but needs to look good if converted to black and white.
- Your emblem design should be relevant and easy to recognise. In other words, it should make people think of The Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
- Check out Dos and Don'ts, find inspiration for your emblem design, and read the FAQs. For a full list of the rules, and the address for your entries, see the Terms and Conditions.

Year 4 trip to the New Forest!
On Wednesday 6th October, Year 4 went on an
interesting trip to the New Forest.
Our first stop was the brilliant deer sanctuary at
Bolderwood where we saw a herd of deer. Then
we went to the Canadian Memorial where there
were a lot of flags and poppies.
Next we went to the airfield at Stony Cross and
saw a map showing how the airfield looked
during WW2.
Our next stop was the Rufus Stone where William
Rufus was killed by an arrow.
After lunch in Lyndhurst we went to the Verderers
Court and also saw the grave of Alice in
Wonderland.
Finally we went to the museum where we found
the answers to some of our questions about the
history of the New Forest.

Safety Day!
At 9 am we started an exciting, marvellous day -
‘I forgot it was safety day’ said Amy.
Year 5 started the day by doing some safety day puzzles.
Mrs Ball split us into groups by pulling names out of a pot
and said that we needed to do our planning. We made
clever moving rooms, which highlighted different types of
hazards.
We looked at hazard filled rooms so that we could learn
about dangers in the home.
At the end of the day we looked around at all the different
rooms and clever models which had been made.
It was quite difficult, although it was fun!

Year 5 go to Hampton Court
On Tuesday 21st September the Year 5 children went on an
amazing visit to Hampton Court Palace to research their project
on the Tudors.
During the trip they participated in many fun activities including
investigating Henry VIII, they looked at artefacts belonging to Henry himself!
After the investigation everyone had their lunch.
After lunch we all trekked into the gardens of the huge palace. With the trip drawing to a
close we all traipsed over to the gift shop and bought all sorts of stationery and the odd
plastic sword!!
It was a great day.
